FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Clinical Transplant Program at the Hume-Lee Transplant Center/VCUHS includes adult and pediatric renal, hepatic and pancreatic transplantation, as well as hepatobiliary surgery, and is currently supervised by four transplant surgeons, three adult and three pediatric transplant nephrologists, three adult and one pediatric transplant hepatologists, and a PhD immunologist.

Our Transplant Surgery Fellowship is approved by ASTS (American Society of Transplant Surgeons) for two years surgical training in Kidney Transplantation, Liver Transplantation and Hepatobiliary Surgery.
