The Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery’s 60-year history is reflected in the spectrum and depth of clinical experience and diversity of our faculty, and in our commitment to providing state-of-the-art patient care. The Division is also committed to providing innovative educational and training experience to our residents pursuing surgical specialty training. The breadth and scope of our high caliber patient care and training include the diagnosis and treatment of numerous mouth, face, head and neck conditions. These include:

  • Reconstruction of congenital and acquired jaw deformities, including orthognathic surgery and secondary alveolar cleft grafting
  • Facial trauma and oral injuries
  • Facial and oral tumors
  • Snoring and sleep apnea
  • Treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders
  • Placement of dental and facial implants and associated bone grafting
  • Dental extractions, including wisdom teeth
  • Treatment of nerve injuries
  • Cosmetic facial surgery
  • Laser oral and maxillofacial surgery
