Surgery Education
We offer training opportunities for general surgery residents, along with a two-year vascular fellowship program. First- and second-year vascular fellows lead the vascular surgery service at VCU Medical Center with the general surgery resident team and the vascular surgery nurse practitioners.
Vascular Fellowship ProgramResearch
Our division has several ongoing clinical research programs underway, including outcomes research related to lower extremity revascularization using various endovascular techniques. Our vascular fellows have presented their work at regional and national meetings on topics that include lower extremity bypass, dialysis access, aneurysm management and upper extremity deep venous thrombosis management.
