Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistant/physician associates, pharmacists, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professions who care for patients with advanced heart failure.                                                                                           

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Review latest updates in heart failure treatments, including standard treatments, cardiogenic shock and LVAD management
• Identify evolving heart failure diagnostic strategies and implement appropriate use of testing
• Analyze complex heart failure cases to demonstrate strategies for long-term and outpatient care
• Apply best practices for working with interprofessional teams for successful patient outcomes
