Students may need specific training or access to facilities and records before initiating a new research project. Researchers at VCU have access to a wealth of resources, and we encourage students to explore them with the support of a faculty mentor.

VCUHS Office of Clinical Research Office Hours

Clinician-researchers with questions about the research process or needing guidance on operationalizing clinical research within VCUHS can sign up for an OCR consult by emailing clinical.research@vcuhealth.org. In the Subject line include ‘OCR Consult’ and in the text of the email include the topic for which they are requesting assistance so OCR can ensure the appropriate staff are available to assist.

The available weekly time slots are:

• 1^st and 3^rd Tuesdays at 12:00PM-1:00PM
• 2^nd and 4^th Thursdays at 11:00AM-12:00PM
