Our success is measured in your satisfaction.

Internationally recognized and board-certified, the plastic and reconstructive surgeons at the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery enjoy surgical privileges at leading hospitals throughout the greater Richmond area. We pride ourselves on cultivating strong patient partnerships, combining skill with artistry to achieve naturally beautiful results.

The decision to have surgery is not a minor one. Every effort is made to ensure that each of our patients is comfortable with his or her decision to undergo cosmetic or reconstructive surgery. Not every consult will lead to surgical intervention, and alternatives when appropriate, will be discussed.

Our group specializes in not only Aesthetic and Cosmetic surgical procedures but also patients needing reconstructive surgery as a result of disease, congenital malformation, or tragic accident.

Our Center for Craniofacial Care offers multidisciplinary care for patients with craniofacial birth anomalies and our Wound Healing Center offers comprehensive care for individuals suffering from non-healing wounds.

In addition, the Evans-Haynes Burn Center serves as a regional resource for the care of acute burns as well as the reconstructive needs of burn survivors and has the capacity to provide care for people injured as a result of fire, chemicals, scalds, or electrical injuries.

The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery has an active research program with emphasis on wound healing, microsurgery, nerve physiology, craniofacial growth and fetal wound healing, and new innovations in burn care. Learn more

The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency Program includes training in areas of trauma, craniofacial surgery, maxillofacial surgery, hand surgery, microsurgery, aesthetic surgery, breast surgery, and pediatric plastic surgery, and an international traveling component comprising this very diverse program.
